We understand what it's like when your child is having a tough time at school. We understand how hard it can be when you try to help them. A child may not be receptive to your attempts to help. Many children resist help from their parents because they don't want to disappoint them when they cannot do the work.

When children struggle with schoolwork, it can affect their self-esteem as well as their motivation toward learning. In many cases the child is simply missing a key building block of learning and can't get through that barrier alone. That's the supplemental learning experience. We created our program to put the building blocks of learning into place.

Created for children pre-K through 8th grade, Tutor Train's after-school program provides individualized instruction in small groups to supplement classroom learning. Tutor Train instructors determine the skill level of your child and match the program at a comfortable level. Our instructors are able to determine how each child processes information, and then explain the concepts in a way that the child can understand. Guessing is out and true understanding is in.

Step by step mastery

Children work at their own pace and levels they can easily master. One step at a time, they gain confidence, building on their success. Most children move forward one grade level in approximately six months.

Supportive learning environment

The tutor Train program supports teachers and schools. Our program uses materials and methods that reinforce the classroom curriculum with a supplemental educational experience. Instructors are always ready to share with parents, so everyone is on the same page.
